We are thrilled to announce that one of our own, @koby.baker has signed to play professionally with the American Raptors with fellow NC @_ebake_ !
Koby started his journey with us as a youth and rose to become a leader and a captain for our High School Varsity team. He helped us reach the Nationals every year and represented the USA Men South U19s in the RAN in Mexico City. He also earned a rugby scholarship to study and play at Cardiff Metropolitan University. In Wales, where he continued to excel and grow as a player and a person. Koby then spent a year in Australia with Port Macquarie Pirates winning a Mid North Coast Rugby Championship.
Now he is ready to join the ranks of the American Raptors, a professional rugby team based in Colorado that competes in the Super Rugby Americas Campaign. We are so proud of him and his achievements, and we can’t wait to see him perform at the highest level of the sport.
Koby, you are a true Redhawk who embodies our core values of respect, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and passion. You have worked tirelessly to pursue your dream, and you have inspired countless others along the way. You are not only a great rugby player, but also a great ambassador for our club and our community. You rock, Koby!

​The Raleigh Redhawks Youth Rugby Club, a rugby Club that has girls and boys teams at all age brackets from kindergarten through high school seniors, is excited to announce that our high school girls team has accepted an invitation to compete in the Elite Girls Rugby League during the Spring of 2023.

The EGRL features some of the best high school girls teams in the Nation and the Redhawks are proud to have been invited as a result of our girls’ results over the prior years.

The Redhawks high school girls team will also compete in the North Carolina Youth Rugby Association’s 2023 season against the many high school girls teams in North and South Carolina. The EGRL will serve as an exciting supplement to that season.

The Redhawks are always accepting new boys and girls at all our age groups and no experience is needed.
